Supply chain review and transformation

Delivery of a detailed current state report and a compelling case for change as the principal outputs of the review. Developed the design for an integrated supply chain transformation program. The transformation program focuses on the delivery of the recommendations from the ’Case for Change’. Worked with TasNetworks leadership to design the scope of the transformation program and support TasNetworks in defining its scope of engagement with ArcBlue.

  • Identified achievable benefit range of between $25M and $45M over 3 years

Development and delivery of the overarching Supply Chain Policy and Strategy for the integrated Supply Chain function. Design of the procurement framework for Tasnetworks – Plan, Source and Manage.

Strategic review (at the request from the TasNetworks Board) of the procurement and contracting approaches of the Marinus Link ($3.8B) Program. This was to identify process effectiveness, strategic alignment and market alignment, application and information gaps and issues. The provision of a detailed evaluation report, the development of option pathways and formal presentation to the TasNetworks Leadership.

Operating Model and Organisational Design

Define, design and deliver a customer focused future-state for the Finance, Commercial & Corporate Services Directorate within HealthShare NSW.

This engagement included the definition of the organisational capabilities, capability maturity assessment, future-state operating model definition, future-state value chain and process architecture, definition of, and detailed organisational design, role design with supporting structure and position descriptions as well as union engagement. 

Delivered operational savings of over $1.5M P.A and improved capability and capacity.

Supply Chain Transformation

Airbus Australia Pacific was experiencing significant issue with the management of its global supply chain. This was driving poor delivery and sustainment outcomes and low customer satisfaction. An assessment identified over 80 key failure modes which resulted in the transformation program initiation.

The 86 failure modes were consolidated into 7 program streams.

  • Delivered inventory reductions of over 40% - over $14M in benefit,

  • Reduced shelf-life derived wastage by 90%, - over $300k P.A benefit

  • Increased demand satisfaction by over 40% and exceeded contractual baselines

A research and advisory engagement on the use of incentives to stimulate and support R&D and innovation within the Qatar economy.

The project outputs were designed to support Qatar University in its role of advising the government of Qatar on possible approaches and mechanism to support and drive R&D and innovation within Qatar to diversify its economy in a post oil-based economy.
